The Portage High School Thespians is proud to present their fall play, The House on Haunted Hill, where all is welcome, both alive and not! The story centers on five money-hungry people who spend the night in a house where the ghosts outnumber them. Whoever survives the night is promised $250,000 in the morning. Who will fall to the hands of the unknown, and who will leave with a better life waiting for them?
“If you enjoy mysteries, horror, and suspense, this show is for you,” said Judah Faegin, 12.
With a tight-knit cast and crew, the real fun goes on behind the scenes. Numerous memories have been made during rehearsals, with everyone spending unforgettable time with friends, enjoying the freedom of self-expression, and using their creativity without limit.
“We all can have a small laugh, letting stress go,” said Serenity Burdett, 9.
The House on Haunted Hill is an original play written and created by Portage High School alum Tommy Jamerson. Join the Portage Thespians on November 8th and 9th for an evening these five unfortunate souls will never forget.
In the spring, even more memories will be made. Production of the Portage High School Spring Musical will begin to ramp up soon, capitalizing off the success of last year’s musical, Chicago. imagination is endless for these shows and the Thespians!
